Dorian’s ebony colored hair draped over his shoulders in waves. His long claws clutched the glass tightly in his hand. He looked every bit the part of a commander.
“You’re welcome. So, tell me all about you and your position. I’ve been told bits and pieces by Ryland, but he suggested I ask you personally.”
Mercurio twisted his lips and drank a good amount from the bottle. He hissed, feeling the small burn travel down his throat. “I see. I agree that you should’ve come to the source first. Ryland and I don’t know much about one another.”
“Yes, but forgive me for being shy.”
“You?” Mercurio said incredulous. “Vampires are never shy.”
